FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is it really free?
Yes. FrenchFlow is free to use, and it is supported by ads. You never need a credit card. In the future we may add an optional paid plan that turns the ads off and adds extra features, but the free version will stay free.
Is FrenchFlow enough to learn French?
No single app is. FrenchFlow is a practice tool. For best results, combine it with listening, reading, speaking and a course or tutor.
Which levels are covered?
A1 to C2. You pick a level when you start, and you can change it at any time.
Do I need an account?
Not to try it. The verb conjugator and the conjugation practice work without one and keep no record of what you do. A free account lets you save your progress and get your daily plan.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. The site and the free tools work on phones, and FrenchFlow also runs as a Telegram Mini App.
How is it different from Duolingo or Anki?
FrenchFlow focuses only on French practice. It uses spaced repetition like Anki, but the words, verbs, idioms and grammar are already there, ordered by how common they are. It is not a full course, so many people use it alongside other resources.
What if I already know some French?
Pick your level and start where you are. You can change it at any time.
